Glenturret
Glenturret calls itself (like a few others) the oldest distillery in Scotland, which is not unlikely, as a distillery already stood on today's site in 1775. It has borne the name Glenturret since 1875. It lies in a very picturesque spot outside Crieff on the River Turret. The water comes from Loch Turret. It produces for The Famous Grouse blend, which is also given pride of place at the distillery itself. Visitors are welcomed to the “Famous Grouse Experience”.

With Eclosion, The Glenturret adds a single malt to its limited editions that differs from most sherry-cask bottlings: it is tropical and lively rather than heavy and dark. Eclosion unfolds vibrant notes of pineapple and citrus fruits, accompanied by vanilla cream and cinnamon spice.

Light, malty and with citrus notes, Glenturret Single Malt is an insider tip for connoisseurs. The door to the Highland distillery’s 2025 release is opened by Glenturret Triple Wood, a smooth, sweet and fresh, fruity whisky.

The smoky days of the Glenturret Distillery are a thing of the past. The Ruadh Maor 2014/2026? One of the remaining casks of peated whisky from the small distillery. Matured in an Oloroso hogshead, it combines ashy peat smoke with a nutty sweetness.
