Brackla
The distillery was founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser, making it one of the oldest distilleries in the world. In 1833 King William IV made it the first distillery to hold a royal warrant. Since then the malt has also been known as “The King's Own Whisky”. Made with particular care, this classic Highland single malt is truly unique in quality and taste. Matured in the finest sherry casks, it develops into a superb, rich whisky with fruity aromas and lightly spicy notes. Distillery style: fresh, floral and fruity. Very well balanced and complex, with apples and pears, a hint of spice, nuts and a distinct sherry note.
