This 21-year-old Speyside whisky has been bottled for the new series called “Cask Noir Productions” by Brave New Spirits. Each whisky in this series is available as a single cask at cask strength, unfiltered and uncoloured. This whisky was matured classically in a bourbon barrel. Due to its 21 years, the notes of brown sugar or even acai blossoms are particularly pronounced.

The distillery was founded in 1962. It is located on the opposite side of the Deveron River of the Banff Distillery. The whisky that is produced here has the name Deveron, under the name Macduff there only exist independent bottlings. The distillery belongs to the Bacardi concern.

This 10-year-old Clynelish was bottled by Brave New Spirits for the Cask Masters series. The whisky matured in a first-fill bourbon hogshead and displays aromas of oily vanilla and heather.

Glenrothes was founded by William Grant & Co. In 1878 and is located in the Speyside in the area of Rothes. A fire destroyed warehouse number one and the 2.000 stored casks on the 15th May in 1922. The burning whiksy was flowing down the Burn of Rothes admist through the village.

North British was founded in 1895 by the North British Distillery Company. The distillery was independent until 1983, today it belongs to Diageo. The production volume is around 5 million liters of alcohol per month.

With precision and a love of detail, Brave New Spirits carves the single casks of its Cask Masters series from selected casks, much like the Japanese paper-cutting technique kirigami, in whose style the independent bottler designs its labels. In the first fill bourbon hogshead, the Cameronbridge 2012/2025 intensified its notes of vanilla, caramel and pastry.

The water the distillery uses comes from the Ballantruan Spring. Most part of the produced whisky is used for making Blends, especially the White & Mackay.

The distillery was founded in 1871 by Alexander Wilson in the Speyside in the town Buckie. The name Inchgower means as much as 'island of the goats'. The whisky is obtainable as Single Malt since 1972.

The Glen Elgin 2012/2025 is a round, complex single malt in which the maturation in first fill tawny port wine barriques complements Glen Elgin’s fine fruit and malt flavours.
