Port Dundas 2000 Claxtons - 56.6%

Product information "Port Dundas 2000 Claxtons - 56.6%"

The Oloroso Quarter Cask is the key factor. Because of the smaller cask size, the whiskey comes into more intense contact with the wood—the result is a mahogany-colored, deeply aromatic spirit with creamy-sweet notes of vanilla, honey, and coconut. Dried figs and plums round out the profile, before caramel, chocolate, and a spicy woody note dance across the palate. The finish is long: raisins, vanilla, and dry oak spice. Unchill-filtered and bottled without added color, this 56.6% ABV whiskey showcases its full natural character. Try it neat or with a splash of water to fully explore its aromas.
