After the overwhelming success of the first two releases, a Tennessee and a Bourbon whiskey, we are now delighted to present a true highlight of the American whisk(e)y art: a Single Barrel Rye Whiskey.
Wu DRAM Clan wants to take whisk(e)y lovers on a flavour journey through the USA with this exclusive series. But what makes rye whiskey so special? Unlike other types of whisk(e)y, rye whiskey is mainly made from rye, and the proportion of rye must be at least 51% by law. This rye goes one step further: with an impressive rye content of up to 90%, it promises an exceptionally spicy and complex flavour experience that will have connoisseurs raving.
This rye whiskey was bottled directly from a single barrel - with a limited edition of just 294 bottles. The ageing in new, burnt oak barrels gives it intense notes of pepper, spices, citrus fruits and a hint of mint. With a volume of 46%, it offers the perfect balance between strength and enjoyment.

Today's distillery was established in 1949 from a brewery in Blackford in the Highlands; its water comes from the Ochil Hills.

This Arran is the oldest whisky ever bottled from the distillery; it was distilled in 1995, the first year of production. It then matured for over 30 years in a bourbon hogshead and was finally bottled by Cadenhead in 2026 for the Campbeltown Malts Festival.

In the center of the Speyside at the northern slope of the same-named mountain at the height of the 250 meters the distillery Benrinnes, which was named Lyne of Ruthrie and found in 1835. It has a special character: It owns a wash still that divides the low wines. First the low wines are piped into the spirit still number two before they get to spirit number one. Their distillate is burnt a second time then, therefore there is practiced a very special kind of three time distillation. The water that is used comes from Scurrn and Rowentree Burns.

Nevertheless the distillery was just founded in 1958 it is listed under monumental protection. It is located in the Highlands in Advie near Grantown-on-Spey. The water the distillery uses comes from the Achovkie spring. The produced whisky is mostly used for making Blends, e. g. the Long John. The distillery is owned by the Chivas Brothers.

The Mannochmore distillery was founded in 1971 by John Haig & Co. The distillery was closed in 1985 for about 4 years. Thats the reason why the fist single malt whisky from Mannochmore was released in 1992. The distillery produces only in the winter and is runned by the employees from the Glenlossie distillery which is located next to the distillery.
