“Never seen before…? A whole universe of casks in a single bottle. Together with Cadenhead’s—part of the Springbank Group and Scotland’s oldest independent bottler—we present an innovative limited series that unites the *entire* spectrum of the sherry world, launching with a release that showcases the sherry profile of the Tullibardine Distillery. The Spectrum Series 1.0 opens up the multifaceted world of sherry, blending five sherry variations in a way never seen before: ranging from the maritime style of Manzanilla to the intense sweetness of PX casks, the full spectrum of these five sherry types was married in Cadenhead’s blending laboratory using the perfect balance.
The blend utilizes exclusively first-fill casks, supplemented by refill PX casks that previously held Springbank whisky—thereby forging a special link to the coveted Campbeltown distillery. It is a true sherry journey that we spent two full years developing, and we are delighted with the result. This marks our first-ever exclusive edition with Cadenhead’s. In the future, a ‘Spectrum Edition’ could also encompass the entire universe of Port or wine cask types. Get ready for a new kind of single malt!”
