Product information "Glendronach 12 Years - 43%"
Ever since James Allardice founded the distillery in 1826, deep in the hills of the East Highlands, the house has stood for particular expertise in cask selection. This single malt, matured for 12 years, owes its profile to combined maturation in the finest Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Spain. With no added colouring, the whisky develops its natural, deep amber gold colour over more than a decade, hinting at the quality of the casks used as soon as it is poured.
On the nose, an interplay of sweet, creamy vanilla unfolds, accompanied by a delicate note of ginger and autumnal pear. On the palate, the whisky is silky smooth and full-bodied, with the characteristic sherry sweetness meeting warm oak notes and sun-dried raisins. The finish is long and firm, marked by a subtle nuttiness that rounds off the complex range of aromas harmoniously.
With a well-balanced strength of 43% ABV, this Highland single malt is an ideal solo performer for pure enjoyment at room temperature. It is recommended both for connoisseurs who appreciate the depth of Spanish oak and for those looking for a sound introduction to the world of sherried whiskies. The striking maroon packaging with its gold accents underlines the exclusive character of this bottling and makes it a fixture in any discerning collection.
Tasting Notes

Finish: The finish is long-lasting and voluminous, marked by a subtle nuttiness and a distinctive structure.
