Ardmore 2012 Cask Noir - 58.5%

Product information "Ardmore 2012 Cask Noir - 58.5%"

This 9-year-old Ardmore has been bottled for the new series called “Cask Noir Productions” by Brave New Spirits. Each whisky in this series is available as a single cask at cask strength, unfiltered and uncoloured. As with our own bottling (see here), the combination of the moderate smokiness of an Ardmore with the maturation in a former Islay cask proves to be extremely exciting and complex. Especially the finish is long-lasting and aromatic. In addition, a maritime base note pairs with a campfire on the beach & roasted scallops.

Ardmore 1978 Bourbon Hogshead #8 Milroys - 47,8%

Some whiskies wear time like a well-cut tweed jacket: worn, but never worn out. This 1978 Ardmore spent 47 years in a bourbon hogshead before reaching the hands of connoisseurs as one of just 186 bottles. A piece of Scottish history that counts more than just years: it tells of patience, craftsmanship and the special moment when a cask releases its contents.
