Ardmore 25 Years Thompson Bros - 48,9%
The Ardmore distillery lies south of Huntley in Kennethmont, right on the railway line from Aberdeen to Inverness, and is sometimes counted as Speyside, sometimes as the Eastern Highlands. It was built in 1890 by the firm Wm Teacher and Sons. It had a comparatively quiet history and remained in the hands of its founders for a long time. It has had 8 stills since 1978. Since 2005 the distillery has belonged to Jim Beam.

This 25-year-old Ardmore was bottled by Thompson Bros. The two hogsheads yielded a total of 463 bottles at 48.9% ABV.
“The nose reveals ripe fruit, honey, vanilla, and subtle smoke, while the palate is dominated by malty sweetness, oak spice, caramel, and a delicate peat note. The finish is long, complex, and pleasantly warm with a perfect balance of sweetness and smoke. An exclusive rarity for connoisseurs and lovers of mature whiskies.”
