This 6-year-old Lochlea was bottled by the Thompson Bros in 2026. The whisky matured in first-fill barrel #88 and has an alcohol content of 57.1%.

This 2020 Lochlea matured in an Oloroso sherry cask and was bottled for the Awakening series of the first Whisky Live Germany 2025. Cask number 244 yielded 283 bottles at 59.6% ABV. Orchard & Oak is a light, fruit-forward single malt aged in bourbon, virgin American oak and Calvados casks. It combines lively notes of fresh apple with buttery caramel and sweet oak, a soft, grassy freshness and a gentle, spicy finish.

The popular Lochlea Fallow Edition (Third Crop) from sherry casks is dedicated to the end of the season – and fittingly also marks the end of the series. Lochlea selected only first fill Oloroso sherry butts for the final bottling. Rich and matured for an extra year, the Lowland single malt offers a fruity and spicy experience with notes of baked apple, date, honey, nutty malt bread and pepper.

With the Lochlea Ploughing Edition (Second Crop), the small team sends up smoke signals for the second time. Unlike last year, this limited single malt from the "Seasonal Releases" range matured exclusively in ex-Islay casks holding just 200 litres each. At an ideal drinking strength, this Lowlander unfolds a profile that gets you in the mood for spring: with fresh fruit and typical cereal notes as well as sea salt, hay and gentle peat.
