Glenrothes 12 Years Darkness - 56,6%

Product information "Glenrothes 12 Years Darkness - 56,6%"

With Darkness, the name says it all: the at least three-month refinement in small sherry octave casks gives the independent bottlings their naturally dark color. The specially made casks (the size of about an eighth of a standard sherry butt) ensure lots of wood contact – and wonderfully dark fruity, spicy profiles.

This 12 year old Glenrothes was finished in an Oloroso Sherry Octave and has a cask strength of 56.6%. It is a pleasantly fruity whisky.
