As a classic "working distillery", the Birkenhof does all the work itself. Grain or fruit delivered to the farm is carefully checked and mashed on site. It is macerated, percolated and distilled. In the large 1,400-litre distillery, the next generation of Fading Hill whiskies is created, while in the fruit distillery a new noble brandy is made from Wahl's brandy pears. In the grain distillery, the aroma is of classic, traditional grain brandies.

This puristic, gold award-winning distillate brings the raspberry to the palate in a subtle but wonderfully authentic way – with a particularly fine mouthfeel. Our new, noble EIER Liqueur has a delicious 18% vol. and is deliberately less sweet.

For over 20 years, the family on the island of Mahé has been preserving the artisanal traditions that their grandfather once passed down to them. This liqueur, made with authentic Seychelles rum, is produced at the historic Trois Frères Distillery in La Plaine St André. The combination of time-honored distillation techniques and the intense aroma of pineapple—called “Zannannan” in the local language—reflects the producers’ deep connection to their homeland.
