As early as 1770, there was a distillery—called Dundashill—at the site where the Glasgow Distillery stands today; it was one of the first licensed whiskey distilleries at the time. This triple-distilled Glasgow release is a vatting of bourbon and virgin oak casks and was bottled in 2022. The whisky brings fresh and light aromas into the glass. A creamy fruitiness pairs with a light spiciness.

This Glasgow single cask bottling was first matured in a Virgin American Oak cask before the whisky was finished in a Moscatel cask. A total of 284 bottles were bottled for Cherry Import.

Unusual for the Lowlands, the Glasgow Distillery burns, among other things, single malt from peat malt. For the exclusive bottling, it spent its final maturation period in a barrel pre-loaded with Moscatel. The sweet wine is made from the sherry grape of the same name and develops a high sugar content.
