The Redbreast is a "Single Pot Sill type Irish Whiskey". It is produced at the famous Midleton-Distillery in Cork, where also Jameson and Tullamore Dew come from. The distillery was founded in 1825, in 1975 the distillery building was rebuild. Since 1988 it is owned by the french concern Perond Ricard.
