With expertise spanning over half a century, Master Blender Billy Walker married hand-selected Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads for the cask-strength Batch 6. The result? A rich, luxurious single malt that coats the palate with layered notes of syrup, maraschino cherries, dark chocolate, and candied ginger.
The GlenAllachie 21 y.o. <strong>Tasting Notes:</strong>
<strong>Nose:</strong> Ripe dark cherries and brandy-soaked honeycomb, with notes of spiced orange, thick syrup, and blackberry tart.
<strong>Palate:</strong> Dark chocolate, dried red berries, and maraschino cherries, followed by heather honey and candied ginger.
<strong>Finish:</strong> Plum brandy and mocha.
