The Pasquet wine estate has existed since 1730. In 1924 it came into the possession of the Pasquet family. Finally, in 1977, the cognac brand Jean-Luc Pasquet was founded.
The cognacs are double distilled and then mature exclusively in Limousin oak casks. They are bottled directly on the estate.

This Cognac from the Hasue Pasquet was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2023 from Limousin Oak Cask #72.
“Aromas of luscious, aged Sauternes and fruit sorbet drift from the glass, developing with time into a crisp minerality. The palate is heavenly. Flavors of fruit salad chews, peach skins, apricots, and mango, all with a squirt of lime juice, dance in perfect balance, massaging the senses. These distillers are united by their desire to produce exceptional spirits while creatively challenging conventions to reduce their impact on our planet’s natural resources.” This Swedish single malt whisky from the Agitator distillery was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2023 for the Collective #1 series after maturation in a first-fill sherry hogshead. “With a complex body, this Swedish whisky greets the nose with notes of mushroom and moss. Subsequent notes of fine peat smoke and umami follow. The Berry Bros. & Rudd Agitator is full-bodied and spicy on the palate. It tastes of leather, waffles, and pastries. ” There are maritime salt notes and smoke. The finish is spicy and long-lasting. The Agitator bids farewell with smoke and dried fruit.

The distillery Benriach is located south of the city Elgin next to the distillery Longmorn and therefore belongs to the Highlands. It was founded in 1898 and already closed down again in 1900, before it was re-opened not until 65 years later. As one of a few of Scotlands distilleries it has its own malting floors. Since 2008 Glendronach and Glenglassaugh belong to the Benriach Distillery Co. Ltd.

The name of the distillery means as much as 'green valley' or 'green grassland'. It is located in the Speyside at the southern shore of the Spey and was founded in 1851 by William Mackenzie. The whisky was completely used for producing blends, mainly for Johnny Walker. Since 1960 the distillery has six instead of four stills.

The Williamson 2013/2024 is an Islay single malt. It was named after the former owner of its original distillery, Elizabeth Leitch “Bessie” Williamson, secretary of the last and childless descendant of the founding Johnston family. Refined in the Oloroso Sherry Cask, it combines sea spray with raisins and medicinal peat smoke with orange peel.

Laphroaig means as much as 'valley at the big white bay' and was founded by Donald and Alex Johnston in 1826. It is located at the southern shore of Islay. The whisky is famous for its smokey-phenolic, iodine-containing and salty character. Laphroaig has its own peat fields - which can be reached by the shortest railway of the world – and also has own malting floors.

A new bottling in the series takes us to the south of the small town of Elgin, where the Glen Elgin Distillery is surrounded by the greenery of Speyside. Completed in 1898, it was the last distillery to be built in the boom phase of the 1890s. To this day, it uses a “wormtub condenser” – a rare cooling system that makes the raw spirit heavier and fuller in flavour. The soft, fruity character of its single malts is also reflected in Glen Elgin 2014/2023: typical notes of marmalade, apples and pears are complemented on the nose by crème brûlée and cream with sweet spices. On the strong, full-bodied palate, there is a harmonious balance between fruit and oak. A dram full of character that makes you wonder why Glen Elgin is not one of the biggest names in the Scotch whisky industry…
