Product information "Glen Scotia 10 years unpeated - 40%"
This 10 year old Glen Scotia is a case in point of classic Campbeltown whisky. It was fully matured in first fill bourbon barrels.
On the nose there are light maritime notes as well as fresh apple and lemon peel. In the mouth you can see melted brown sugar, orange jam and pineapple paired with vanilla. Finally, a little spice is added in the finish.

This Glen Scotia 2015 was finished for almost 5 years in a First Fill PX Sherry Hogshead. This Campbeltown single malt was bottled at 54.0%.Original Tasting Notes Dark rum soaked figs and sticky cola cubes are followed by syrupy, stewed, black plums. Earthy dark chocolate and bitter walnuts are balanced with sticky gingerbread, cinnamon and clove.

Wisps of sweet peat are balanced by whipped cream and orange zest before warming oak spice.

Then there is a vanilla fudge sweetness and earthy black chocolate before lingering oak spice.
