Product information "Fettercairn 14 Years - 40%"
Founded in 1824 at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains, the Fettercairn Distillery follows a unique production process. A distinctive copper cooling ring allows fresh mountain water to flow down the outside of the stills, allowing only the lightest alcohol vapors to rise. This 14-year-old single malt was matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels, which gives it not only its natural, light golden color but also a delicate texture and elegance.
On the nose, a lively interplay of pineapple, mango, and kiwi unfolds, accompanied by floral honey and the aroma of fresh brioche. On the palate, this whisky—with a robust 46% ABV—is very well-balanced, with ripe garden fruits blending with creamy vanilla, smooth cocoa, and a pinch of cinnamon. The finish is long-lasting and spicy, with notes of spiced apricots and toasted almonds.
