This whiskey is a very unique Single Malt from the Busmills distillery. It is unique because it matured at least 16 years in three different types of casks (oloroso, sherry and port wine). The casks that used to contain american bourbon give the whiskey flavours of almond and honey. The oloroso-sherry casks give him his balance. The final maturing process in the port casks give him his red colour and a certain sweetness.
This makes this whiskey complex and fascinating.
