This AnCnoc is named after the heart of the Scottish peat bogs, located in the Northern and Western Highlands. The barley from the third batch had a phenol content of around 34 PPM, while the finished whisky was still at 13.3 PPM.
The taste of the Peatheart impresses with notes of green apples, citrus fruits, a hint of vanilla and pleasant, oily smoky notes.
