The Glen Moray distillery is located in the Speyside and was built by the Glen Moray Glenlivet Distillery Co. Ltd in 1897. It is the only distillery at the shore of the Lossie, where it also gets its water from. The name Glen Moray means as much as ‘valley of the village at the lake’.
