]]> The distillery was founded in 1798. It had a moved history with many close-downs and therefore it had different names as Tobermory and Ledaig. It is located in the Highlands, in Tobermory on the island Mull. Today the distillery produces two Single Malts: The unpeated Tobermory and the peated Ledaig.

The result is a complex single malt with intense smoky notes, sweet rum and raisin aromas and a spicy maritime depth. Bottled at cask strength at 52.6% ABV, it brings the whole soul of Islay to the glass.

]]> The Bunnahabhain distillery is located at the kyle of Islay at the edge of the island in the northeast and lays that isolated, that there had to be constructed a long and curvy street down to the sea as it was built in 1881.The water that is used has its origin in an underground spring from the river Margadale and therefore it comes from Islay it has a relatively low concentration of peat.
Until 2003 it was owned by an descendant of the founder, Highland Distillers. Nowadays it is owned by Burn Stewart Distillers.

Riserva Botte Rum is a special edition characterised by additional ageing in a limited number of carefully selected barrels, mainly from Martinique and Jamaica (Caribbean), which were previously used for ageing rum. Further ageing emphasises a more definite grappa/wood contrast and a sweet and spicy aroma. A combination of unique sensations.

]]> The history of the Marzadro distillery begins in 1949 in Brancolino di Nogaredo, in the heart of Vallagarina, in Trentino. An impressive area, interspersed with vineyards, which are “pulled up” with masterful care from the valley floor, which is partly cultivated with fruit trees, to the foot of the mountains. A pioneering start that consisted of tenacity, stubbornness and many promises that have been kept over time. Attilio Marzadro and his sister Sabina are the main characters in this story. Thanks to his extensive experience in growing the vines and his skill in adopting centuries-old art, he was able to win the best marc for grappa distillation. The Marzadro family already runs their business together with the third generation and has been able to maintain the traditional values ​​even with a view to continuous renewal. Against the romantic background of the revival and preservation of ancient traditions, Marzadro presents itself as a dynamic, continuously developing company, whose production takes place with constant respect for a healthy environment and with the use of impeccable raw materials and the most advanced processing systems. In order to obtain the heart of this valuable vine mix, distillation is carried out according to the traditional method: in a copper still, the pomace is heated in a discontinuous water bath. The grappa then rests for twelve months or more.

]]> The founder of the distillery, John Hopkins, had the aim to already produce a whisky in the year of the founding in 1897, because this year was the year of the ‘Diamond Jubilee’ of Queen Victoria. At the end of December his employees were able to produce one cask of whisky in a distillery that didn’t even have windows. The distillery is one of the smallest in Scotland and is located in the woods near Rothes in the Speyside.
