Locally grown Airen white wine grapes are fermented to produce Carlos I. The resulting must is distilled and cut before storage with sweet wines d'Alexandria and Pedro Ximénez. These wines give it its sweet character. Carlos I is matured for at least 10 years using the Solera process. The barrels were previously coated with Oloroso Sherry, which gives the brandy additional color and warm and multi-layered aromas.
The aroma is characterized by sweet and nutty notes. Add vanilla, nutmeg and roasted almonds.

The Brandy Carlos I comes from Andalusia in Spain. After being exclusively available to its creators for decades, it was launched in 1922 under the name Carlos I. Since then, this brandy has become one of the most famous Spanish brands.

The Cardinal Mendoza Brandy is made according to the secret recipe of the famous Sachez Romate family. The family has been known for wine growing for centuries. Accordingly, only the best wines are used in the production of the brandy. Almost six liters of wine are needed to produce one liter of brandy. The Cardinal Mendoza is matured in small American white oak barrels. After the brandy was originally only burned for the private circle of the owner family, commercial production began in 1887 because all friends of the family were convinced of the quality of this brandy.

Santamania Cherry Gin Batch 2 – 41%

In this limited (only 460 bottles in Germany) version of the Santamania Gin, fresh cherries are macerated for a week in a grape alcohol (Tempranillo grapes). To achieve the best taste, all cherries are halved and the core removed. Only the best pulp is used for maceration. After maceration, the cherries and alcohol are distilled in a copper still called VERA. The result is a delicious, pure cherry vodka.
During the distillation the following botanicals are added: fresh juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, cardamom seeds and nutmeg. During the distillation process, the gin is refined with fresh lemon peel via steam infusion. The result is fine gin with a subtle taste of the botanicals used, with an emphasis on the juniper and lemon peel.
