James Eadie\r\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\r\nJames Eadie (1827-1904) was a Scottish brewer who started his brewery in 1854. Born near Gleneagles, Scotland, one of fourteen children, he left school at the age of fourteen to work for a living.\r\n\r\nThis self-made man was a calm person whose hard work and indomitable perseverance made him and his family a good living. Apart from beer, the Eadie family had their own recipe for a blended Scotch whisky, of which there are still a few bottles to this day.\r\n\r\nToday the company is run by his descendant Rupert Patrick. The focus is on single cask bottlings and small batch releases, of course uncolored and not filtered.<\/td>\r\n
