Nagahama may be Japan’s smallest distillery at around 8 tsubo (26 square meters), but it is playing a good role as part of a new generation of distilleries emerging across Japan. The distillery has been in operation since 2016.<\/p>\n
In addition to the first new bottlings, mini barrels were also manufactured and sold so that fans can age the whisky themselves in just a few weeks. These were made from American oak and charred like normal barrels.<\/p>\n

This is one of the first releases from the Nagahama distillery. Since the distillery does not yet have enough of its own whiskey, the whiskey was blended with matured distillates from around the world.
