Nork is grain schnapps – just different. Better different, to be precise. At least for all those who always gratefully decline the thought of the German classic. Because the grain schnapps of the young team from Bremen and Hamburg show: the grain schnapps is a deeply underrated spirit. The founders of Nork have come to prove this. How? Because the siblings and friends have developed two korns that prove to all grain skeptics that the original German spirit can also be gentle, highly aromatic and even peaty instead of boozy and boring.

The ingredients for the comeback of this misunderstood spirit are – in addition to great attention to detail and a lot of manual work – selected grain mixtures, traditional craftsmanship on small stills and clear water from the distillery’s own well. Nork is revolutionizing strictly according to the requirements of the German Purity Law: Korn may only be distilled in Germany from German grain and without any additives. The Hanseatics remain true to the roots of the real North German grain, but at the same time dare to look ahead: On the palate, Nork is anything but cliché Korn

Johann and Ann-Katrin Dallmeyer also rely on their socially acceptable Nork distillate for delicious liqueurs – such as Nork lemon-ginger. The fruity liqueur variant is as fresh as a north German breeze: all ingredients are processed by hand. These include the juice and peel of organic lemons as well as chopped organic ginger. Macerated in the Nork distillate for about a week and lightly sweetened results in the tangy ingredient for exciting drinks or ice-cold shots.

[2180,3900

post-59825","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-minis-and-samples-en","product_cat-other-samples","pa_bottling_date-keine-angabe-en-2","pa_cask_type-keine-angabe-en-2","pa_country-deutschland-en-2","pa_destillation_age-keine-angabe-en-2","pa_destillation_date-keine-angabe-en-2","pa_region-keine-angabe-en-2","pa_whisky_bottler-keine-angabe-en-2","pa_whisky_bottler_series-keine-angabe-en-2","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
