Glenrothes was founded by William Grant & Co. In 1878 and is located in the Speyside in the area of Rothes. A fire destroyed warehouse number one and the 2.000 stored casks on the 15th May in 1922. Glenrothes was matured in a sherry hogshead \u2013 for a full 18 years.
