The Scotch Universe series is an independent bottling series from the pen of Michel Reick. The labels of the bottlings reveal something about the origin of the whiskies, but the exact distiller’s name is not mentioned.

The universe – an infinite space full of secrets waiting to be discovered. Michel Reick could hardly have found a more fitting synonym for the diverse world of Scotch whiskies for his brand. With Scotch Universe, he leads us on a taste journey – as complex and fascinating as outer space. On the flight path are distilleries from all regions of Scotland that come up with handpicked single malts or single grains. Some of them smoky and stormy like a star collision. Others serene and balanced like the dark side of the moon. All named after celestial phenomena.

Spectrums of colour, glistening light or dense darkness: discovering the Scotch Universe can feel like looking through a telescope into unexplored worlds. And just like these, the brand’s whiskies do not reveal all their secrets. The fact is: all of them come from carefully selected casks bottled separately in Scotland, are neither chill-filtered nor coloured and have a high, cask strength alcohol content. In addition, the label with coordinates leaves plenty of room for speculation and the spirit of discovery.

Ganymed V brings together dark matter in the glass: matured in first-fill Bordeaux Supérieur barriques, this island wine combines the dark fruit sweetness of grapes and plums with a hint of spices such as rosemary.

[2851,2508,2853,2204,2276,2170

post-179446","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-independent-bottlers","product_cat-islay-en","product_cat-michel-reick-en","product_cat-scotland-en","product_cat-single-malt-en","product_cat-whisky-en","pa_bottling_date-2025-en","pa_cask_type-bordeaux-red-wine-en","pa_country-schottland-en-2","pa_destillation_age-12-en","pa_destillation_date-2013-en-2","pa_region-islay-en","pa_whisky_bottler-michel-reick-en","pa_whisky_bottler_series-scotch-universe-en","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
