In 2018, Stewart Laing and his sons Andrew and Scott fulfilled their dream of owning their own distillery on Islay. The new release is named after the spectacular ‘Bholsa’ caves near the distillery. Prominent maturation in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks gives the single malt a special depth and rich spice, creating a traditional and full-bodied Islay style. The result is a sweet and rich tasting experience of ripe plums, oranges, and smoky raisins, soaked in Oloroso sherry. A spicy and pleasantly long smoky finish.
