More than 3,600 supporters made the GlenWyvis Distillery project possible. Founded in 2015 in the Scottish Highlands near Inverness, the whisky distillery is entirely community-owned. A record-breaking crowdfunding campaign funded the \u00a33.8 million project, reviving the distilling tradition of Dingwall after 90 years.
\nNestled between the foothills of Ben Wyvis, GlenWyvis brings together renewable energy (the distillery is completely independent of the electricity grid) with local barley, long fermentation and traditional copper stills.
