]]> Alexander Mine and George Taylor founded a distillery in Keith in 1786 under the name Milltown. It is the oldest distillery in the Speyside. After a very eventful past with fire, explosion, change of owner and name, it has been called Strathisla since 1949, just like its whisky, the water of which comes from Broomhill Spring and which is the heart of the Chivas shelf.
