In the idyllic Broomlands near Enniscorthy stands the imposing 18th Century Brown farmhouse, home of Mark Brown. Continuing the family legacy, he grows the barley for Broomlands: Edition 1.1 and Broomlands: Edition 1.2 in highly productive terroir. Matured in bourbon and virgin oak as well as in premium casks that were filled with first-class (sweet) wines, the single malts offer complex notes from malt biscuits to sparkling spice or from toffee to lemon sorbet.

Barrel type: 37% premium French oak barrels (Château Lafite red wine), 11% Vin Doux Naturel casks, 11% New American oak casks, 41% First fill American oak casks
50% vol.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Maltcake, floral, blood orange, milk chocolate, green grapes, raspberry jam, grapefruit and hay.
Palate: Sparkling spiciness with cloves that slowly softens and gently envelops the palate.
Finish: Malt and persistent dryness with a spicy, appetizing tingle.
