Original Tasting Notes:

Nose: Opens with a bowl of strawberries and then cherries.
Taste: Strawberries, cherries and pineapple with a
ripple of blackpepper.
Finish: Big fruit bowl, dominated by strawberries,
cherries and that pineapple.

Lush green fields as far as the eye can see – that is Ballindoney Farm, a farm that has been in the Ahearn family for generations. The farm is located in County Tipperary, in the heart of Ireland’s famous Golden Vale, known for the richness of its soil and the purity of its water. And right here, in the middle of the barley fields, the Tipperary Boutique Distillery was founded in 2014. With the distillery, Jennifer Nickerson, Stuart Nickerson and Liam Ahearn have fulfilled their dream of a distillery in which Irish whiskey is produced exclusively from home-grown barley, true to the motto “Grain to Bottle”.
