The Flensburgers have transferred their talent of uniting concise flavours for a lasting enjoyment experience to the gin category. Not only the coveted gold, silver or bronze medals at international competitions such as the World Gin Awards, the China Wine & Spirits Awards or Meininger’s International Spirits Awards in 2020 and 2021 show: This step has been taken successfully! With experimental finesse, high quality standards and expressive character, the current four compositions of the Gin Project series also manage to surprise even in the midst of a diversely flourishing gin landscape.
Oldman Spirits has already made this clear with Gin Project One. Exotic, invigorating, pure summer: botanicals such as grapefruit and coconut bring tropical freshness to the glass and transport you to Caribbean beaches. While the Dry Gin with a fresh kick skilfully builds a bridge to the rum releases of the North German manufacturer, the charming Gin Project Two focuses on local botanicals. Refreshing cucumber and fruity-sweet apple are the stars of the dry gin with recognition value.
Summery, light and regional – this also applies to Gin Project Three. Carefully handcrafted, the interplay of aromas combines ripe cherries with sour-sweet currants to create a balanced, mildly fruity version of the juniper spirit. Gin Project Four is completely different: With a powerful, woody juniper note, the dry gin takes the senses back to the origins of the category – and promises purists classic enjoyment.
