The Redbreast Lustau Edition is the result of a unique collaboration between Bodegas Lustau and Midleton Distillery. The result is the ultimate sherry style of Redbreast.
Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, Redbreast 12 is characterised by the flavour complexity and distinctive qualities of a pot still whiskey. Matured in a combination of American oak bourbon casks and Spanish oak oloroso sherry casks, Redbreast’s distinctive sherry style is a joy to behold in each and every bottle.

Nose: A complex, spicy and fruity aroma with distinct toasted wood notes.
Taste: Full-bodied and complex, silky smooth with a harmonious balance of spicy, fruity, sherry and toasted notes.
Finish: The complex flavours linger long on the palate and are satisfying.

The Redbreast is a “Single Pot Sill type Irish Whiskey”. It is produced at the famous Midleton-Distillery in Cork, where also Jameson and Tullamore Dew come from. The distillery was founded in 1825, in 1975 the distillery building was rebuild. Since 1988 it is owned by the french concern Perond Ricard.
