The Connoisseurs Choice is one of the collections in which the traditional house Gordon & MacPhail publishes its connoisseur bottlings. The whiskys in the range are characterized by low numbers and high demand from single malt fans. The mostly very limited bottlings have usually flowed at 46% ABV since the start of the series in 1968. or in cask strength and partly with a wood finish in the bottles.
Aromas of red apples go over to sweet gooseberries, orange peel and raisins. Notes of white pepper combine with ripe banana and intense milk chocolate. The finish is medium strong with a touch of oak.
