Torabhaig is the first distillery on the Isle of Skye to produce a new single malt after Talisker Distillery in 190 years. It was built by the independent bottler Mossburn Distillers from the ruins of an old farmhouse. Stones from the nearby Camus castle ruins were used for this purpose. The first spirit at the distillery flowed in 2017 and the first single malt was released in 2021.
