The Seychelles’ first premium rum has been produced since 2002 in the distillery founded by Richard and Bernard d’Offay on the main island of Mahé. Just 60 metres from the beach. The brothers use both fresh Seychelles sugar cane juice and molasses for Takamaka rum. The ingredients are distilled in pot and column stills.</p
Whether refined with its own mountain spring water, flavoured with pieces of wood in an innovative process, refined with regional spices or bottled from a single barrel: Takamaka ensures variety on the palate for rum fans and explorers alike
