This release of Springbank 18 Year Old was bottled on December 8, 2025, after the whisky had been aged 50% in bourbon casks, 45% in sherry casks, and 5% in rum casks.

Founded in 1828 by the Reid family in Campbeltown on the Mull of Kintyre peninsula, Springbank was taken over as early as 1837 by the Mitchell family, who still own it. The single malt Springbank is distilled two and a half times with water from the Crosshills Loch and little peated malt: A blend of feints and low wines is distilled a third time. Springbank also produces the single malts Longrow (double distilled, more peated malt) and Hazelburn (triple distilled, unpeated malt). All whiskies are not coloured and not chill-filtered.
