A true Islay whisky: powerful, full of character, and marked by origin, craftsmanship, and time. This heavily peated single malt (40 ppm) has been maturing on the shores of Lochindaal since 2005 – initially for eleven years in bourbon and sherry casks, then for five years in French virgin oak, and finally in second-fill bourbon casks.
Its character: intense peat smoke meets notes of vanilla, hazelnut, heather honey, dried fruit, and a salty, maritime depth that makes its Islay origins unmistakable.
