The Octomore 16.2 is the exciting continuation of the 16-year-old edition, especially when compared to the series’ signature whisky, the Octomore 16.1. Distilled from the same barley batch as the Octomore 16.1, the Octomore 16.2 was initially matured in ex-Oloroso and Bordeaux casks before being finished in Madeira and Moscatel casks, which lend it depth and sweetness. The aromas are dominated by caramelized sugar, roasted nuts, and dried fruits, beautifully embedded in sweet campfire smoke. A complex, balanced whisky that deserves time and the connoisseur’s full attention, revealing its complexity with every sip.

Dense, sweet Smoke, caramelized sugar, roasted nuts and dried fruits, candied citrus peel, spices, a maritime blend of campfire and sea salt.
