The story of the Marzadro distillery begins in 1949 in Brancolino di Nogaredo, in the heart of Vallagarina, in Trentino. A charming territory crisscrossed by vineyards masterfully cultivated from the valley floor, partly planted with fruit trees, to the foot of the mountains. A pioneering beginning, characterized by tenacity, stubbornness, and many promises fulfilled over time. Attilio Marzadro, along with his sister Sabina, are the protagonists of this story. Thanks to his extensive experience in cultivating vines and his ability to master a centuries-old art, he succeeded in obtaining the finest pomace for grappa distillation. The Marzadro family, now in its third generation, manages its business and has managed to maintain traditional values, even while pursuing a policy of continuous innovation. Against the romantic backdrop of reviving and preserving ancient traditions, Marzadro presents itself as a dynamic, continuously evolving company whose production takes place with constant consideration for a healthy environment and the use of top-quality raw materials and the most advanced processing systems. To preserve the heart of this precious grape blend, distillation is carried out using the traditional method: the pomace is heated in a discontinuous water bath in a copper still. The grappa then rests for twelve months or more.
