Ledaig 2011 Murray McDavid – 55,7%

In Ledaig 2011/2025, powerful peated whisky meets sweet sherry influences. The single malt was distilled in 2011 in the smoky branch of the small Tobermory Distillery – right on the fishing harbour of the Isle of Mull.

During the maturation process, Murray McDavid demonstrated his in-house skill in cask management and matured the heavily peated whisky in an authentic Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. After the two-year finish, the wild character of the Scottish west coast blends surprisingly harmoniously with the fruity sweetness of the fortified wine.
