The 16 years spent in a refill barrel have beautifully refined the typical Tobermory smokiness without robbing it of its wild spirit. The result is a whisky that makes an immediate impression and continues to open up with every sip.

Nose:
A very clean, yet penetrating burst of smoke that makes it immediately clear what this is all about. Precise, intense, without any harshness – a polished smokiness that settles over the aromas like a thick mist.

Palate:
Earthy, sweet and silky all at once. Added to this are grilled, caramelised lemon slices, creating a wonderful balance of sweetness, acidity and smoke. A Ledaig that makes no secret of its maritime origins, yet surprises with an almost creamy texture.

Finish:
A delightfully playful finish: Bassett’s Coconut Rolls, those soft coconut sweets, meet campfire flavours – warm, smoky, cosy. A perfect final note that lingers and leaves you longing for the next sip.
