The distillery, founded by Ian Palmer, began operations almost exactly 10 years ago in December 2015 in Glenrothes (Fife) and takes hi-tech whisky production to the extreme. However, the goal is not, as one might assume, highly efficient mass production, but rather the maximum possible intensification of flavour in the distillates: ‘A Modern Distillery on a Quest for Flavour’.

The production process differs from the classic approach in many areas. For example, there is no mash tun, but a mash filter press (only two distilleries in Scotland use this technology) for higher sugar concentration in the wort. Double condensers behind the stills ensure immense copper contact, and sophisticated wood management contributes to the amazing whiskies.
