This small batch bottling consists of two Oloroso sherry butts that matured for over 13 years and were bottled exclusively for the German market. These are two of the few unpeated casks produced by the distillery.

The distillery was opened by Anthony Wills in 2005. It was the first new-opening of a distillery on Islay after a pause of 125 years. It is located in the northwestern part of the island on a former farmer area and is the only distillery on Islay that isn’t located next to the sea. It also is the only distillery on Islay which may call itself ‘100% Islay’, using all the ingredients and doing every producing step on the island.
