On the palate: berry fruit—not cloyingly sweet, but clear and fresh—with herbal notes up front and wine gums in the middle. The finish is dry and long, featuring a blend of Port notes and Jura spirit that is a real delight. A modern Island whisky with character—and a cask the likes of which you don’t find every day.
