Glenrothes 1995 Signatory Symington´s – 54,4%

Andrew Symington delights connoisseurs with whisky treasures from his portfolio of over 10,000 casks.
The industry legend carefully guarded his Glenrothes 1995/2025 for around 30 years. For the Symington’s Choice series, the first-fill Oloroso sherry butt yielded 499 bottles with magnificent old-school notes of leather, dark chocolate, dates, and nutmeg.

The Speyside distillery has risen like a phoenix from the ashes several times in its 145-year history. So connoisseurs can still enjoy their soft, light and fruity single malt today. For the Seasons Autumn Edition 2022, it was matured for 11 years in oak casks, including a first fill sherry butt finish. The effect: inviting natural brownness and full, strong aromas of dates, honey, coffee and dark chocolate.
