“Brisling is a small fish that was traditionally landed in large quantities on the Scandinavian and Baltic coasts. There, it was prepared by hand and canned to be sold as a Nordic version of the sardine. FANGST’s Brisling is our contribution to reviving this delicate fish and giving it a new place as the ‘Nordic sardine.'”
