The ElsBurn 10 y.o. is the new batch of the Distillery Edition 2024 and continues the series with a proud age statement. Typical of the popular series, it matured entirely in first fill sherry casks from Jerez. The result is a rich, characterful flavour experience with baking spices, sultanas and mandarins alongside subtle notes of vanilla and caramel.

In the Elsbachtal valley, nestled in the mountainous landscape of the southern Harz, lies the Hammerschmiede. Instead of iron ore, the Buchholz family processes a different regional raw material here: barley. Since 2002, the spirits manufactory has stood for Hercynian Single Malt. Now the sophisticated whisky from the heart of Germany has received a special honour: the award as “Category Winner” at this year’s World Whiskies Awards.
